The current director of the Bilbao Accordion Symphonic Orchestra is Amagoia Loroņo, Josu Loroņo’s daughter. Her brilliant career as an interpreter began at the early age of 8, and includes several national and international prizes, performances at the Fundacion Juan March, TVE, ETB, Teatro Arriaga or Palacio Euskalduna, besides occupying for many years the first music stand of the Bilbao Accordion Symphonic Orchestra. Besides her career as a soloist, she has offered music chamber concerts with Asier Loroņo, her brother, with programmes of baroque and romantic music and that of Basque authors such as Guridi.

She shares her artistic career with pedagogic work at the Loroņo Musikaltegia, where she makes her pupils share her musical feelings, encouraging them to enjoy it above all.
The orchestra has offered over 600 concerts during its history.

It has played great many concerts within Biscay in Bilbao, including some at the Teatro Arriaga or the Palacio Euskalduna, besides others in auditoriums, and churches of most of the villages found in the province.

Concerts outside Biscay include visits to Alava, Guipúzcoa, Navarre, Madrid, Barcelona, Santander, Extremadura, Catalonia, Galicia, Burgos, Avila, Valladolid, Leon, Cartagena, Toledo, La Rioja, etc...

Tours of concerts abroad have taken the Orchestra to countries such as Germany, Poland, France, Portugal or Colombia.

Groups and soloists with whom they have worked include the Choir of the Bilbao Choral Society, Oskorri, and Jatorki Choir.

The Orchestra has carried out eight CD recordings, covering an extense repertoire, from classical music to great Basque composers through Spanish music.
